Hello World!
We hope all of you enjoyed the month of August as much as we did here is a list of the five things we each LOVED this month. You should really check them out!
Sincerely,

Kodi:
1. Sprinkle Of Glitter
- So this month has been full of trying to organize my life, get things done, and pack up again to go back to school which has resulted in a lot of stress and anxiety. One thing that has really helped me this month in particular was watching Sprinkle of Glitter (and Sprinkle of Chatter) videos on YouTube. I think Louise is always just so positive and fun, and watching one of her videos never ceases to put a smile on my face.
2. M.A.C. Mineralized Skin Finish in Global Glow
- This is a product that I have been wanting to get for a long time now because I have seen so many glowing reviews of it online. So I finally got myself to get it and now I feel like I can't leave the house without brushing some on. It instantly gives your face a healthy-glowy look, which I absolutely love, and for someone as pale as I am makes it look like I have a bit of sun on my cheeks.
3. Jungle Book Cup
- This tumbler has been a total staple with me this month, normally I have a super huge Starbucks one that I use, but this one is so much more in tune with who I am (The Jungle Book is one of my favorite films) and is a much easier size for bringing out and about. This month I have also been trying very hard to get myself to drink more water, and for some reason having the straw makes me drink a lot more than my normal amount. I don't know why that's a thing, but I am glad it is.
4. Serendipity and Creativity
- This was a blog that I discovered a while back and for some reason rediscovered it at the end of July, since then I have been catching up on all of the posts that I missed and finding general nuggets of wisdom. I love the format that the posts are in and ALWAYS find something relatable, relevant, or incredibly helpful to my life at the moment in her posts.
5. Kate Spade Planner
- So this past year at school I had a planner that completely fell apart after the first few months which left me writing assignments on random slips of paper and on the back of my hand. I was determined to get a good one this year to improve my organization and this one is absolutely fantastic! It has a sturdy outside so it won't fall apart, it goes from this month all the way until December 2015, and on top of that just looks really pretty which is always a big plus for me.
Hudson:
- So about a week from friday I received the unfortunate gift of lice. It was awful. Honestly, if it weren't for this brand of products I don't know where I'd be.
2. Mockingjay
- By the time this post is up I will probably be done with this book, because, honestly, I'm addicted. I love how it's not really a romance but more of a focus on war and a rebellion. I don't know why but this was something I really needed this month. Something, where I can just loose myself in another world without getting caught up in some whirlwind romance.
3. Shake It Off
- One thing you should know about me is that I am a huge Taylor Swift fan and proud of it. I could write an essay on why I believe she is an amazing celebrity and argue my point with those who disagree. So obviously when I heard she was releasing new music I was ready and waiting. At first I wasn't too sure about her first pop song but it has definitely grown on me. I especially love working out to it or just playing it when I need a good shake out.
4. Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- I know I'm really late to the game on this one but this show is funny, uncomfortable to watch, but funny. If you are a fan of Arrested Development or anything by Ricky Gervais you will love this.
5. Water
- I know we all drink it but boy do I love this stuff. I have suffered from a lot of dehydration headaches this past month and especially with me reintroducing fitness into my daily routine, it has become a necessity.
